JETTIES - Marciana Marina jetty

The Marciana Marina jetty provides a high degree of safety in tourist marinas that feature very complex waters. With an overload that peaks at 230 kg/m2, the individual modules are constructed especially to guarantee maximum stability. The universal toggle joints are designed to absorb the motion of the waves effectively, reducing its impact. The jetty's buoyancy comes from floats made of syntethic resin over a core of self-extinguishing closed cell expanded polystyrene. Made of hot-galvanised steel that is resistant to the corrosive action of seawater, the framework requires no maintenance at all. Decked over with robust similteck resin staves, the top is also very robust: the panels are removable - as in all other jetties - for easy access to the plumbing and power supply lines housed underneath.
